These special moments are directly form the family photo albums of our designers at DRYKORN. Our families are as authentic as they are diverse. In this brand new capsule collection we explore the stories of very different individuals and how they intersect in the present.
WEST-BERLIN, 1986. It's a time of political change, wild freedom and conflict between east and west. B. is living in a squat. He is striving for self-determination, questioning every kind of authority and traditional lifestyle.
SEOUL, 1964. 8122 km from Berlin S. is joining the South Korean military. His day is determined by strict discipline and hardship - while looking for a different kind of freedom and self-determination.
VIENNA, 1964. At the same time C. is living in the far away capital of Austria. The old capital of a former great empire standing still in time. C. sees no place for this kind of delusional nostalgia in his life. He and his peers are moving forward challenging the norms of the Viennese establishment.
NAPOLI, 1996. Italy stands upside down. Thanks to Diego Maradona SSC Napoli secures a 5:1 victory. Big news for the young F. and all he really cares about. Napoli of the late 90ies has not much in common with Vienna, West-Berlin or Seoul - on the surface these people do not have much in common - except that one of their family members later will - each in their different ways - become a part of the DRYKORN team.
